Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Stryker em jan. de 2024
Entrevista
I had an internal referral for my application. The interview process is 8 rounds total - the first is a phone call with an internal recruiter who tells you this. It's helpful to network with sales representatives and ASRs ahead of time - all of whom I had a great experience talking to.
Notes from my conversations with sales reps and recruiter: at the end of each interview ask if they have any concerns on you for this position... (if no) "in that case can I get your support to move on to the next phase". One of the interview rounds is the gallup -ex; from 1-5, how hard of a worker are you (say 6, quickly) … its a game based on - Time that it takes to answer - Assertiveness - your answer. Generally speaking, they are looking for people with an achiever mindset, and competitive with self. Also - articulate, self aware, upbeat.
The recruiter was very friendly and easy to get along with on the phone. Towards the end of my first interview, the recruiter told me they already had a final candidate for that role (?) and that they would be my recruiter going forward. After promptly being rejected from the position, I reached out to the recruiter with 2 questions about things that they suggested in the interview and did not receive any responses. A bit distasteful execution on the recruiting team and I decided to look elsewhere. I don't say this to bring the Stryker team down - everyone I interacted with was phenomenal and the company clearly has great culture. I think there are some simple changes that would improve the recruiting side.

Interview 1: They have a list of questions they can ask from. You will definitely be asked a version of:
1. Tell me about your education and experience in 2-3 minutes. Here they are looking to see if you can sell yourself in a limited amount of time; sometimes all you have is 2/3 min with your clients to communicate the sale.
2. Why Stryker? Why [specific dept]? have an answer for why you want to do sales for the specific department.
Additional question:
3. What would you want your coworkers/clients to say about you?

from my experience so far, the interview process seems lengthy but fair. It is a lot of networking teams and learning the team just as much as they are trying to understand you. It is a sales position at the end of the day so having the intangibles are necessary to succeed

Terrible experience with lack of communication between representatives and interviewee. High expectations for an entry level interview and no support with communication. No clear direction or follow up. Heard from reps that the position is very demanding and not enjoyable as there is no work life balance. Disconnect between recruiter and sales management.

Unfortunately, had a condescending regional manager interview (didn't get a phone screening interview) where there was some passive aggressiveness in some of their replies. Asked how many team members was on the team and they proceeded to say usually people will go research it up on LinkedIn, but this amount of team members. Seemed very unprofessional and probably not the best work team culture in this specific division. Better to get an idea for the manager's treatment towards a potential candidate before joining their sales team.
