Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou mais de 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela StudyBlue (Concord, CA) em nov. de 2017
Entrevista
Initial phone interview with the recruiter for 30 mins. I was asked about standard questions that the HR had. There were 12 questions and 8 of them were related to automation even though the position was for manual testing. This eventually confused me and I asked for a higher compensation then I actually had in my mind. At the end HR told me this was manual testing position after asking the automation related questions and my expecting was high. So I agreed to what they would be offering based on market standards. After a week I got an email that they would be moving forward with other candidates.

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela StudyBlue (San Francisco, CA) em jul. de 2017
Entrevista
There were 2 phone rounds and 4 onsite in-person interviews. A lot of focus was on cultural fit apart from technical skills. Most of the technical questions were related to the job description and my work experience. Interviewers were experts in their fields and would go deeper into a topic that closely relates to a similar problem you could potentially solve at Studyblue

Easy, phone call and just asked about my past experience and a writing sample. The interview was conducted by my manager and she was extremely nice and friendly on the phone. It was more of a fluid conversation than an interview
