After applying online, I participated in a phone screen. I was invited to an in-person interview within a day of the phone screen. The in-person interview was run by two women, but it was unclear to me how their roles were related to the position in question.

The interviewers had absolutely no interest in hearing about my work experience or accomplishments. One, in particular, seemed most interested in asking me about each of my current and former employers and her style of questioning made me feel like she was convinced I was being dishonest and she was trying to catch me in a lie. These two women could not tell me what they were looking for in a candidate, nor could they articulate a clear vision for instruction at their middle schools.
