I was called 1 hour after submitting my resume online to schedule an interview. I was a recent college grad and very eager to start working anywhere I could. The job title was "Management Training" and I figured this would be a great start. When I came in for the first interview, I was told that there was no management training until after you "proved yourself in the field" as the ex-military manager liked to put it. He claimed that the company only promoted from within so this was a way of putting in your dues. He also leads you to believe than it is common for sales reps to make between 500-1000 dollars per week soliciting door to door. This could not be any further from the truth, as I would later find out during my first week of labor. The more common practice was actually in the realm of 200 dollars per week while working from 9 am to 9 pm monday through friday, 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, and then you are "highly encouraged to set an example" and work Sundays as well.
Regardless, you are mislead and no clear answers are given until you actually begin to work. It is not what the job is described as on the want ad. If anything positive can be said, it is that the manager has an effective way of marketing this job and convincing you that it will be a promising career when it isn't worth a bucket of warm spit.

1st Round: Preliminary interview basically for the manager to get to know my interpersonal skills and if I am able to effectually communicate with people. Also a way to determine my career goals, passions in life and business mind-set.
2nd Round: Met with two top account managers who described to me the details of the job in terms of the daily tasks, pay structure, hours and benefits. Learned it was a residential marketing job for a little less than a year, but t was also a program designed to build future campaign managers for Fortune 500 companies. I was asked questions regarding my sales background, degree, and customer service skills. Also was asked to elaborate on my leadership skills and why I would be a good candidate for the position.
3rd Round: A written question air was required to complete the process. I was then selected by the account manager and was asked back were the manager offered me the position.

Tried to make money while still in school. Sounded promising from the job posting. 3 Day process. I applied online. After the first day i was told I would receive a phone call if my profile fit the job. Not a single thing about the job was mentioned straight up, even after I inquired about the responsibilities of the position. I tried to visit their website to find out more but just as the "Hiring managers" were, it was bland, uninformative, and for lack of a better term, it beat around the bush. The "manager" (not really sure what to call him) couldn't stop talking about how his training in the Army helped him with the strength and leadership qualities he has to make him so successful at what he does. I have nothing against military service as many of my family and friends have served but none of them are full of themselves like this clown was.
The second interview was where I found out that this would be a soliciting job, but I thought maybe over the phone or at office presentations. No it is door to door and i found this out on my first day on the job.
Lesson learned. Do not take a job unless you know every detail about the job. I am now working as a self taught programmer and making more than I ever would have at this place.
