Sun Life is probably a good company to work for but their recruiting process is a mess. Despite being a very large and successful company, their recruiting is terribly unprofessional. Although my HR screening interview and my first two 1:1 interviews were done within 2 months of my application, they did not have the common courtesy to call or email me back to provide closure. This despite at least 3 emails asking for a status update from HR. I have heard similar stories from other candidates which leaves me to believe this problem is systemic. As a result of my experience, I would not entertain applying for a job at Sun Life.
