The recruiter I spoke with was personable and enthusiastic, but the conversation felt one-sided, she frequently cut me off and spent more time talking than actually listening. That said, she was warm and encouraging, telling me my background was a strong fit, that I’d be a great addition to the team, and that the VP would be impressed. She mentioned she just needed to coordinate the VP’s schedule and that we’d be in touch soon.
Days passed with no word, and I noticed the role had been reposted. I followed up twice over several weeks and was completely ghosted , no response, no rejection, nothing.
After doing some digging, I learned this appears to be a pattern for this team and specifically this recruiter. Candidates are led to believe they’re moving forward, given vague scheduling excuses, and then never contacted again. It’s a disrespectful way to treat people’s time and a poor reflection of the company’s culture.

I interviewed for a Senior System Administrator role with Supergoop!, reaching the final stages in mid-April. Despite the high-stakes nature of the position and several hours of technical and leadership discussions, the company went completely silent following the final round.
For a brand that markets "transparency" and "innovation," their recruitment process is remarkably outdated. If a Senior SysAdmin candidate—someone responsible for the reliability and security of your systems—is treated as an expendable data point, it speaks volumes about the value placed on the IT department and its people.
Ghosting a final-round candidate isn't just a "bad look" for HR; it’s a functional failure in communication. If they can’t manage a status update for a senior-level hire, I have little confidence in their ability to manage complex internal systems or support a "human-centric" culture. Disappointing experience from a brand I previously respected.

Had a great interview process in the beginning. The recruiter was really supportive and communicative, next rounds were being scheduled quickly. I really liked everyone I met.
However the number of rounds was getting crazy. In addition to the hiring manager, I met about 5-6 senior cross functional team members. I would have preferred more time with the hiring manager during the interview process. After 7 rounds I was completely ghosted, despite numerous follow ups. I thought this was disappointing given how much time I had put into the interviews and it was for a senior role. I would have preferred to just be rejected at that point.
