A third party recruiter approached me about the position. I applied and was called for initial phone interview a week later. Process from start to finish about 6 weeks. 2nd interview was done in person with hiring manager and district manager. This interview was very unorthodox. They wanted to know specific dates of previous positions (on my resume in front of them). They wanted to know exactly what I made at each job over the last 15 years, including high school & college jobs. This took an hour. They then gave me a packet of questions to answer and hand back prior to leaving that took an additional 30 minutes. They said they wanted me to come back the very next day for 3rd interview to ask actual interview questions for over 2 hours. It is difficult to change your work schedule on a dime like that for such a long interview. But, I figured it out and made it happen. Then he called 2 days later to verify specific details regarding previous employers that I had already told them. It was very strange. And he asked for a copy of my current company pay stub and copies of annual performance reviews, which seems very personal. They called all of my references and asked them some odd questions as well--like what they thought my salary was and what the pay structure was. The hiring manager called a week and a half later and left a voicemail to call him back. That was very odd because typically anyone else would just let you know via voicemail if you didn't get the job instead of having an awkward conversation. Overall one of the strangest interviews I've ever had. I believe I really dodged a bullet not getting an offer.
