They wanted me to record myself (video) answering questions that could be easily looked up in my CV. If the point was seeing if my English is good enough for the position, video conference would be a much better way.

Very fast, had to record some video answers of some questions that were about schedule, compensation but also some technical questions about experience with Apis's, SQL, SDKs. Pretty straightforward but you have a limited amounts of tries.
