Scheduling: Interview was scheduled over the phone, no confirmation, no official mails, no venue details given. I had to confirm this on the day of interview.
Process: Manager has to show up but he didn't for some reason and you have to wait.
Cut to chase, test lead comes up and starts with testing questions, all bookish ones(and expects a bookish answer) , asks for your projects and work done, but doesn't get a damn thing even after breaking it down to bits and pieces. Way to lead ;) Average round. Fails to explain what the role is about.
Round2: Technical round about Java and stuff. It was more of a coaching session than interview :) If you wanna learn something totally new that you haven't figured out yet, you need to attend this round. Kudos to the guy :P Again doesn't give a clarity on what this role is about.
HR: Beats around bush and very vague description of job profile, explains this as a lead role, designation clearly says about engineer, and there is an existing lead already in the team. Looked fishy to me. It was clear to me that they didn't have any clear answer for these questions.
