Was reached out on LinkedIn and a call was scheduled promptly for the next Monday. Went thru some company and role details with little to none personal experience shared, and expected to have a conversation with the hiring manager soon after. Was asked for an official application submittal so a call can be scheduled with the manager and promising would get back no later than two days as he was meeting up with the manager soon. I had the application submitted the next days and that was when I began to be ghosted. Messaged the person who reached out last day of that week for a follow up but did not hear back. My application was eventually rejected a month after. I am so confused and I wonder if it is a scam for stealing my information. Be careful .
