Easily one of the worst and most misleading interview experiences I’ve had. The recruiter initially seemed highly positive, discussed benefits, and even asked for my address to ship equipment since the role was remote. They told me I was a top candidate but kept stalling for almost a month, claiming they were interviewing more people. Eventually, I was rejected with the vague excuse that another candidate was a “slightly better culture fit.” Later I found out they hired someone with nearly 10 years of experience for what was advertised as an entry-level Product Owner role. The process was unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful of candidates’ time — false hope and poor communication throughout.
