Main starting questions regarded ability to travel to sites over the UK for work, ability to conduct out of hours work, being able to learn on the job and adapt where necessary. Basic networking, virtual machine and infrastructure, asked about educational and work based IT history.

The interview process was great, I was initially contacted via telephone for a pre screen call, once I had passed this, I was invited in for an initial interview with the People and Culture team, this was a get to know me style interview, they use the phrase "bring your CV to life" so discuss your past roles and talk about job duties and responsibilities. About a week later I was contacted to come back for a final stage interview with the CEO, where both People and Culture and the CEO made me feel very welcome, had alot of laughs and also presented a powerpoint to discuss how I could help SysGroup with my expertise, Overall the Interview Process was good, effective and was offered the role a few days after!
