I applied for the position via Careerbuilder. I was called approximately four days later for a phone interview. The phone interview was the basic phone questionaire from HR and some technical questions from the technical manager; nothing overly unexpected or difficult. I was immeditately told that they would like to have a face-to-face at the corporate office. I then was flown to Baltimore to do an in-person interview and a short presentation on something technical with about 10 people in attendance. I was given a quiz on what I know about SQL then taken to lunch with about seven people in attendance. Overall it was a great experience. They really seem to care about making a good impression and getting to know you and see if you will fit well with their corporate culture and people. About a week later I was called and asked to provide three references, someone I had trained, a cowoerker and a supervisor. The process then bogged down a bit as one of my references was uncooperative, not returning HR's calls. I am four weeks into the process and still waiting for a yea or nay.
