I had two phone interviews, with multiple contacts through email and a face to face. Then I heard zero back from anyone. Despite my efforts by leaving messages and sending emails.

I had the prescreen — they mainly asked basic questions. One of them was about how I usually promote someone and the steps I take during that process. I explained how I evaluate performance, look for leadership traits, give stretch assignments, and provide coaching before recommending a promotion. It felt more like a general screening to understand my leadership style.
