There was a phone screening interview. It was straight forward. Was invited to in-person interview the following week and was asked to complete 2 online tests before interview. One was an IQ test and the other was a personality test.
The in-person interview was easy. HR Manager was pleasant, but Operations Manager seemed disinterested even before interview. To my utter surprise, they went with internal candidate. Invited to another interview for the vacant position from the internal candidate being promoted. Interviewer from HR was very rude and disrespectful. I brought samples of my work to show off and better demonstrate my capabilities - I usually do this for all my interviews and the hiring managers have always appreciated the effort that goes into bringing samples of previous work. This was the first time a hiring manager brushed it off and didn't even bother looking at what I brought. I thought that was very inconsiderate of my time. The first half of the interview was easy, but her disrespectful attitude and demeanor broke my concentration and I had trouble with the second half of the interview where she started peppering me with follow ups. Needless to say I was not offered the position.
