Take home assessment dealing with building a .net app with JavaScript GUI and backend that supports upload, download, search, and browsing of files via controllers. There were additional optional features that you could build. Not worth since we barely discussed my existing code. Very light code review of submitted code. Many of the questions in the interview pertained to full stack development. For example, how would you scale/change this application to deal with larger uploads and downloads etc

Fulfilled all of the requirements and did none of the additional options. They barely looked at my code for the submission anyways, I believe additional objectives would have been a wasted effort. Answered almost all of the questions well, the engineers were pleased with many of my answers. They even told me to reach out after the interview if I had any more questions about the position. I thought I was going to the next round for sure, but I don't think they are really hiring.
