Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fui entrevistado pela MapLarge em out. de 2024
Entrevista
3 rounds: screening call with recruiter, take home assessment + subsequent interview to discuss code with engineers, discussion with management
The communication was absolutely horrible from MapLarge. I had to follow up 3-4 times after submitting a take home assessment. As others have stated, the assessment is very time consuming for an interview process and I probably spent about 12-15 hours on it. I felt like I answered 90% of the technical questions correctly in the 2nd interview. Did not make it to the 3rd round and got zero feedback on my interview. Was told they were seeking someone with 'more experience' after all of that effort and having already reviewed my resume/discussion in the screening call.
Position originally advertised as in office once a week but requirements were actually 2-3 times a week. Many of their locations are in remote locations so commutes are horrific.
Save yourself the time and spend your effort interviewing elsewhere. Their process was extremely time consuming and unprofessional.

Take home assessment dealing with building a .net app with JavaScript GUI and backend that supports upload, download, search, and browsing of files via controllers. There were additional optional features that you could build. Not worth since we barely discussed my existing code.
Very light code review of submitted code. Many of the questions in the interview pertained to full stack development. For example, how would you scale/change this application to deal with larger uploads and downloads etc
