I fit all the (stated) job requirements for this specialized role(and even the extra qualifications they asked for ) and after sending in a detailed motivation letter I got back a template email saying they decided to move forward with "more suitable" candidate,. This is their choice of course . However more detailed feedback would be more professional in my opinion..especially since the opening is still posted one month later !
