The hiring process was very probably one of the best hiring experiences I've had in my career. The company recruiter and hiring manager were VERY informative and very responsive to any questions I had. They both also kept in touch during the hiring process to make sure that I had any information I needed and that all of my questions were answered. I will say that the technical screening was probably one of the hardest I have ever been through, but for good measure. Tanium is all about making sure the right people are working here and how you work under pressure. I wouldn't say the technical screen was a firing squad, but the people on the call asked intelligent questions and expected me to either know the answer, or explain that I did not and to answer as such. The work culture here is awesome, and the best I've worked in. Even through the interview process I could tell this was a work family, not just a bunch of individuals that happened to work together. The final part of the interview process was to go to Emeryville (corporate HQ) to do some in person interviews, including one with the CEO. I feel that was one of the best experiences of the process. The CEO has such a love for the company and really puts in the effort to make sure the best people are working here.

As others have said, don't waste your time. I applied in January, and a recruiter reached out in March. I was still looking for the right fit, so I emailed back on a Wednesday accepting the interview invitation. No answer. I sent a follow up email the following Tuesday, and again no answer. I sent a final email Friday thanking them for their time and interest, and immediately received a response saying they were still interested and wanted to schedule an interview. Once we connected it seemed as though things were going well. The recruiter detailed the extremely thourough interview process, and moved me forward to a technical quiz. After passing that, she scheduled me with the VP of TAM, for the following week, and sent me a list of videos and resources about Tanium I should learn. I poured hours into their youtube channel, vimeo account, and more, and when I logged onto my interview the guy never even showed. I emailed the recruiter twice more, and then gave up. I like to be well prepared during the interview process, but apparently they don't. Hopefully they don't treat their accounts this poorly!
