Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Target em jan. de 2012
Entrevista
I graduated from a University in 2009 and have been working in retail management with another company. I always maintain and update my LinkedIn profile to stay relevant. As a result, a Target recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn stated that they were looking for talent with my type of experience and skill set, and that they would love to schedule a phone call to see if Target could be a good fit for me. I wasn't actively seeking employment opportunities, I was happy with my current position. But, I corresponded with the recruiter over email and scheduled an initial phone interview.
The phone interview was with the recruiter and lasted approximately 45 minutes and consisted of about four behavioral based questions. They were specifically interested in my ability to lead others and develop talent, overcome difficult situations, and drive profitable results. The phone interview went really well. I was contacted by someone else to schedule my in-person interview shortly after the phone interview was completed.
My in-person interview consisted of two interviews: one with the District Team Leader (DTL) and a Store Team Leader (STL), and the other with just a Store Team Leader. Both interviews were at the same location and occurred one right after the other. I spend approximately an hour at the 2:1 interview with the DTL, and 30 minutes at the 1:1 interview. The environment was full of positive energy and I was very comfortable with each of the interviewers. They wanted to know about me both personally and professionally. I told them enough so they could understand who I was as a person but didn't spend a lot of time on that question, only 2-3 minutes tops. They asked about my management strength and weakness. The remaining questions were similar to that of the phone interview, behavioral based questions. They were looking for specific examples in your responses (PAR style, Problem Action Result). But they also wanted you to be able to respond to follow up questions. One example to prepare is how you handled a situation when you disagreed with a superior. It seemed like the skill they were most interested in for the ETL is the ability to make those around you successful, and to train and prepare those under you for promotion. I was contacted by the corporate interview scheduler within two days to schedule the final phone interview.
The final phone interview was with the regional HR and leader, with HR directing the interview. It lasted only 20 minutes and felt like more of a formality than an interview. They wanted to know about me personally and professionally. They wanted to know how I would fit with Target and why I was interested in Target. They wanted to know my greatest management strength and weakness. Then we wrapped up and they said I could expect to hear back within the next couple of days.
I received a phone call from my recruiter two days later extending an offer to me.

It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
