They had me wait in the employee break room which was really dirty and unorganized. I was called into the room to interview with the department of which I was applying for's manager. She asked me a series of "what would do in this situation...?" questions and some "name a time when..." . It was only a couple questions and lasted about 10 minutes. If you have common sense and hype yourself up you'll be able to answer them well. The manager liked me so they had another manager interview me. It was the same situational questions. That manager liked my answers as well and hired me on the spot. Due to the unprofessional treatment I received from HR and other red flags I have seen, I did not accept the offer.

I had applied for several jobs at target and got a call back that didn't specify which position the interview was for. I was so excited that I got a callback, I had forgotten that I applied for more than just a cashier position. When I got to the interview, I asked which position and received attitude. The interview went on pretty well, so well that he decided to take me out on the sales floor for a "test". He told me to sell him on some clothes. Since when does Target have salespeople? I hadn't prepared for selling during this interview so I failed miserably. I did not get offered the job. Since then, I have been to the same Target several times, and not ONCE has an employee came up to me while clothes shopping. I felt discriminated against.
