I interviewed for the role of System Engineer at TCS, and overall, it was a positive but challenging experience. The process started with an online aptitude test, which included logical reasoning, quantitative ability, and verbal sections. After passing the test, I was invited for a technical interview.
In the technical interview, I was asked questions about data structures, algorithms, and operating systems. They gave me a coding problem (involving arrays and sorting), and also asked about my understanding of system design basics. After that, I had a managerial round where they focused on behavioral questions—teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution.
Within a week, I got a call from HR with a job offer. The entire process took about two weeks, and communication was very clear throughout. Overall, it was a well-structured and organized interview experience.
