During my application I had a meeting / an interview with the Head of People and another meeting / interview two team members of the company as well as with employees of the acquisition department
A 30 minutes screening with the HR, talked about the role requirements and team work methodology, as well as my past experiences and how I'd be a good fit.
Taxdoo wants to hire people via remote.com as an employee. I kindly asked the HR whether I can opt for being hired as a contractor, also through remote.com (which is actually cheaper for them) and never received an answer back.
A week after the HR screening, I receive a cold automated rejection mail, without any details on what was not sufficient or what could be improved.

I recently interviewed with this company. The hiring process consisted of just two steps: an initial HR call and an interview with the hiring manager. Surprisingly, for a technical role like the one I applied for, there was no dedicated technical round in the process. I received a negative final response without any feedback. It would be helpful if the company included a technical round and provided feedback to candidates.
