Online Interview through Skype, usually there are 1-2 rounds. Personally, I applied through my university so I did not have to have any reference letters and only had one interview with TaLK.

1) Apply online 2) Video Interview with someone from your local Korean Consulate: this interview is very easy, there's nothing you need to study for. Mine ended up being a phone interview because they had technical difficulties, it lasted less than 10 minutes. Keep in mind that Korean is their first language so speak clearly for them. 3) Video Interview with one of the heads of the TaLK Program: they will ask you more about yourself and give you situational questions to make sure you're mentally tough enough to stick it out. My interviewer was American, so there weren't any language barrier problems and it lasted about 20 minutes. Be professional but also relaxed. Many TaLK scholars are young with no previous work experience, life experience where you've proved yourself to be independent is more important. Also, I was accepted into the program 3 weeks before Orientation began in Korea. Everything about this program and Korea is done very last-minute, just expect that going in.
