Entrevista
Two skype interviews and a phone interview. They ask you questions about lesson planning, classroom management, and Korean culture. The interview process can be real quick. I heard others received confirmation after one or two weeks. Mine took several months, but this was due to getting the apostilled background check. Get your apostilled background check as early as possible!!!

Entrevista
Applying to the TaLK program is a very long process.
I applied on 7th Feb (but their office was closed) so I resubmitted my application on 22nd Feb (because you can make changes before they actually get to reading your application). I was then contacted by email to arrange an in-person interview with my local embassy in London, UK on 27th March (so a month later). They basically contact you one week before they want to interview you, so if you're far from your local office, be prepared to travel. Had my interview on 5th April. (This interview is basically to check to see if you can actually speak English and aren't a weirdo, very easy questions!)
When you pass the first interview, you are required for a second over Skype with the Head PR Co-ordinator of the TaLK office over in Seoul. This interview was arranged about a week later. I had mine on the 12th April - this interview was the real deal, questions about experience, situational questions, lifestyle and such. The final results whether or not you get in are given an entire month later. 25th May, the be exact.
All in all, it was a stupidly LONG process. At least a month in between each stage.

Questions about your health, tattoos, body piercings and allergies.
Many Korean apartments are very old and traditional, and lack many features that modern housing have. You might be living in a place that builds up a lot of mould in the summer when it is humid. How do you feel about this?
You have a one hour commute from your apartment to the school, you get there and find that all classes are cancelled. How do you feel? What would you do?
Your teaching schedule is very sporadic, some days you might not be teaching at all, and on others you will be teaching 6 classes. How do you feel about this?
On x day, you have classes in the afternoon and you can get the 11:00am bus to school to be there for 12:00pm. The principal would like all teachers to be on campus for 9:00am, and the only bus before that time is at 7:00am. What would you do?
The school asks you to work 2 hours extra/week, but cannot pay you as they do not have the funding in their budget, how would you feel about that and what would you do?
You’re finishing up for the day and will be meeting your friends for drinks, your Korean co-teacher comes up and asks you if you’re coming to the work party. This is the first time you’ve heard of it. What do you do?
