Contacted via recruiter - 1 interview w/ recruiter + phone interview w/ company + skype interview + in person interview in Houston told by recruiter that job was to be offered at in-person interview. Was not offered despite the non-reimbursed travel to company headquarters. typical no explanation after moving forward with other candidate Selling education but won't hire those working to complete post graduate work? *this company is stuck in the dark ages*

I was contacted by an outside recruiter the same day I applied for the position. I was asked a couple of question about my background. The recruiter stated that he would submit my resume to the hiring manger and get back with me once he receives a response. The recruiter called back and stated that the hiring manger wanted to do a phone interview. I completed the phone interview which I thought went great due to the fact that I was asked to come in for an in person interview the next day. I went in for the interview and it was the worst interview experience I've ever had. They were super unprepared and didn't have any questions prepared. I asked the majority of the questions because it was so awkward. Contacted the recruiter two days later and he stated that they had gone with other candidates.
