I submitted my resume in the late afternoon/early evening for a General Manager position for one of their Dyehard Fan Supply offices. I was contacted within 10 to 15 minutes to set up an interview for late morning the next business day.
I was interviewed by the regional VP who was driving some place and was totally distracted. The interview lasted 30 to 45 minutes.
Later in the day, I received an e-mail from the regional VP to speak with a Senior VP the next afternoon.
My phone interview with her was much of the same. She was driving and heavily distracted. She contradicted pretty much everything the regional VP said. The only thing that they could agree on was the Teall Capital and its subsidiary Dyehard Fan Supply prioritized great communication.
That was the last I heard from either of them. My follow up questions and thank you e-mails went unanswered.
It has been over a month since the interview and they are currently advertising non-management staff positions at the office I would have run.
I felt very disrespected by the rushed nature of the interview process. I was expected to clear my calendar at times of their choosing on less than 24 hours notice on not one, but two occasions.
I was also quite disappointed that they did not answer most of the questions that I had for them during the interviews or any I had soon afterwards. Beyond that, they outright lied to me during the interview.
