Entrevista
I met with several Client Leads to discover if I was a good fit for the role. The process was streamlined as it was relatively quick. I met with two upper Management employees. My first interview included a wide range of questions and get to know you line of questioning. My second interview was much more engaged and included questions that were concise and related to the actual job to ensure I was a good candidate. Overall, both leaders were very positive and encouraging.

I had 3 interviews with Team V. One over the phone, one with the team's manager, and one with a colleague. It was a very nice experience. I felt well equipped for the questions they were asking based on the job description. I feel that the interview with my collegue was more to feel out my personality/get my vibe as a team member rather than my ability to do the tasks mentioned in the job description.

Recruiter phone screen and manager calls were great, then came the senior leadership interview.
They reached out to schedule an impromptu call, where they admitted they’d never seen my resume, then ended the call abruptly asking me to email some specific info, and text for the next interview. They asked personal questions that didn’t have to do with my qualifications and also recorded the call, which made me feel uncomfortable.
I spent hours writing the perfect email and answering their questions, which led to them then playing their best “dealership impression” via text, days before Christmas. Honestly, that person provided the worst candidate experience. To do that to someone days before Christmas, with a job they’re really gunning for, and to a combat veteran nonetheless, was really unimpressive. If that’s how they treat candidates, after telling me “we’re all like family here”, I shudder to think how I would be treated as an individual contributor during the holidays in the future.
The rest of the team seemed really nice but also seemed like they knew this person would ultimately pull something like this… no wonder they record the first call, cut it short and act “buddy, buddy” before putting on a different act ‘off camera’.
Because of this, the company went from the very top of my list to the bottom in one big swoop.
I really hope this review wakes someone up over at human resources and people management as to this person’s tactics. Do better, you’re supposed to be an industry LEADER. Suggest you start acting like one if you’re trying to attract top sales talent.
Also, there’s no reason the recruiting team shouldn’t be scheduling calls for interviewers and maintaining their candidate pipelines. I was basically handed off to the next person each time, leading to a really inconsistent candidate experience.
Good luck!
