Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Tekzenit (Irving, TX) em ago. de 2012

      Entrevista

As far as I can tell this company is pretty unprofessional. I was told they have approx. 30-35 clients at any given time and they have two offices, one in Irving TX, and the other is in India. I did not have that great of an experience as you will find out. I was set up with a recruiter that just wanted to fill the position obviously. I had already been on several interviews/offers and knew the process. My interview was for 3:00pm and I showed up about 10 minutes early. It was relatively easy to find and had several employees from another company in their building sitting in the parking lot, smoking, talking, eating, sitting in their cars, sleeping etc. I don't really know what to think about that. I walked in and stood there for a moment trying to grab someones attention. Finally someone from a cubicle saw me and told me to have a seat in the lobby. Someone else came into the lobby and told me wait in the conference room which is adjacent to the lobby. It was a standard conference room with giant TV's on the wall etc. I sat there until 3:25 (approx. 35 minutes). During this time I had nobody come in and ask how I was doing or to assure me that someone was coming. Finally, a sour gentleman came in and I quickly realized he had no interview experience. He had nothing with him and asked me for a copy of my resume, which is not really a big deal. He proceeded to review the resume for about 30-45 seconds and asks me a question. He repeated this process several times. He also asked me about my salary requirements which is something he was not supposed to address as I was working with a recruiter. He abruptly stopped the process and told me someone else would be in shortly. So I sit...and wait... another 10 minutes goes by. Finally two men walk in the room, I forget their names, but they seemed pretty nice. They were both wearing Jeans, which is not that strange for an IT company, but one was wearing a screen print t shirt with an unbuttoned flannel shirt over it, hadn't shaved in days and was wearing a Foo-Fighters ball cap. They explained that they hadn't ever done an interview before and didn't know what to ask. The person I was supposed to meet with wouldn't be coming. I was pretty much done at this point. I just wanted to finish up and leave. They asked me about HTML5 like "What is the HTML5 Doctype?", "What are the new tags for HTML5". A few other technical trivia questions later and I look to my left when I see another candidate walk into the lobby. The open conference room door didn't really bother me until that moment, but He heard the rest of the interview, then I shook hands with my interviewers and they told me that someone would be right with me. After a few minutes the other Candidate was walked into the room and they told him to sit DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM ME at the conference table. We just sat there and I asked him if he was here for an interview for a web developer. He said yes and quizzically asked me if my interview was at 3:00pm. I told him yes just in case he had any chance of having a better experience than I did. (It was about 4:05pm by this time.) After a few minutes of startlingly awkward silence, I decided it was unprofessional for me to be sitting with a fellow candidate. I retreated to the lobby and looked their post-modern flea market chic indian decorations until someone can in and told me that they would be in touch. I told the recruiter and he seemed to be more interested with how the interview went than my experience with the company. He didn't get it. I don't think I would have ever gotten a call back from a company that had two very unexperienced interviewers giving their feedback and opinions on my interview. It ruined my chances which I don't really mind after the experience I had.

      Pergunta 1

They asked me about backend technologies and I was unable to answer because that is out of my wheelhouse. I told them this and they laughed it off stating that they didn't know which position I was interviewing for.
