Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Teradata em jan. de 2013
Entrevista
Well one of my friends that worked for Teradata had talked to me about joining after I decided to become an independent contractor. After a few months I decided to pursue it. I was still required to submit an online application for one of the open positions so I submitted for a few positions and put his name and email address as a referral.
Within a day or two I was being scheduled for a phone interview. The first 15 minutes was very much focused on technical but it seemed like after the interviewer felt like I knew what I was talking about that we flipped over to more personality and behavioral type questions.
I know that the interviewer did a followup with the person that referred me.
After that I just had to fill out a stack of paperwork and take a drug test.
From scheduling the interview until my first day visiting Atlanta to wrap up my last bit of paperwork, get my ID made, and pickup my laptop was about 3 weeks.
Teradata feels like a company that's strongly built on trust. If you have a top performer then you trust their judgement on a referral. If you're coming in off the street then I feel like it's a little more difficult.
