Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fui entrevistado pela Teradata em mar. de 2021
Entrevista
I was contacted via LinkedIn by a recruiter who worked at Teradata for a remote project manager position. I spoke with the recruiter and then received an email to interview at a certain time. I replied to the email 15 hours later stating that I could interview at the time given, but I got another email back 5 hours later stating the timeslot was now booked. She gave another timeslot and asked for me to respond quicker to her email. I responded that I could make the new timeslot as well. The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes with 2 project managers. One PM was 8 minutes late, so we waited for her. Then I was told they had a hard stop in 22 minutes and asked me to make my answers short. They asked me if I was open to relocation, and I said no, the recruiter said this was a remote position. They said it was not. The whole interview was a waist of my time.

Tell me about yourself and why you are looking for a new job. Describe a time when you were given a project which was behind schedule.
They will not sell you on the role, they’ll ask you one question and if you don’t answer it in a way that is “by the book” to them then you won’t get the job. My interview was set for 30 minutes and was over in 10. I kept selling my own skills to the interviewer to provide further context and was able to extend it by 15 minutes but no dice. Another issue was the lack of clarity in the job description that was then provided as a trip question in the interview.

If I gave you a budget for agentic AI what would you do with it?
I was turned off by their methods of researching competitors which lacked integrity. Additionally, they explained how their company was very large and like a slow moving ship and that even getting set up will take a couple of weeks.

Engineering team seemed annoyed that their previous PM submitted enhancements but called them bugs, since in their eyes, the feature was working as designed, so they asked how I would handle that situation.
