I was called by the Recruiter and we spoke for half hour. He bought me in for an interview that we scheduled for the following week. The day of I received a cancellation request and followed up to see if something happened and he told me to disregard and then I received a new invite. Turns out when I went for the interview the Director didn’t meet with me and the cancellation was intended to be an updated invite to replace the Director with a Coordinator to interview me. I sat there spoke to the coordinator about my current role and then spoke to the Recruiter about the same stuff we did the week before. I was hoping they would have me wait to meet the Director but it never happened. I left and hadn’t heard anything for months and wasted my time. One day after I looked at the LinkedIn profile, I suddenly received a rejection email.
