My interview experience with Tesco Bangalore is the worst experience that I ever had anywhere. I took an online test and solved both the coding exercises given and cleared the aptitude test. Then appeared for 2 f2f rounds and almost answered 90% of the questions accurately. The next day I was informed that I havent cleared the interview :) I have been offered by the top most companies in Bangalore including Microsoft earlier. There is something seriously wrong with the recruitment representatives of the firm. Would be good for the company if they could find and fix the problem before the news spreads.

First round was a aptitude and coding round with two programs that had a time limit of 2 hours [Coding Link], 20 aptitude questions which included logical and reasoning questions with a time limit of 35 mins [Aptitude Link]. Second round was a face to face with peer developer who tested the basic coding of Calculating the x power y problem using best time complexity where in the interviewer also focused on the cloud computing, application server concepts such as session management in case of multiple app servers etc. Third round was the face to face design round with senior manager where in I was asked to design a logistics application which handles the delivery flow. The interviewer also digged deeper into the framework concepts and emerging technologies usage. Fourth round was a face to face with HR head who analysed cultural fit, my passion for technology, my interest inTesco etc. Fifth round was a face to face with the head of technology who interviewed my understanding in creating a Web or mobile application from scratch, process like CI/CD, TDD, scrum, handling a team etc. Sixth round was with HR manager who spoke to me about the changes the technology division and the company is going through. My complete experience walk-through which lasted for approximately 1 and half hours.
