Was interviewed by the Head of Recruitment and Talent Management, Ms Norizan Amin. The whole interview was okay. When I asked ' what is the biggest people issue in Tesco right now?' she just answered 'People development'. Which I found was rather ambiguous. Every company needs people development. Obviously didn't want to tell me about it.
When asked about the last person in this role, she said 'transferred out' and no other reason given. Gives me an assumption that they could not really get along for some reason.
I believe in every job interview, it is an assessment of not just the hiring manager on the candidate, but the other way round as well. As such, I'm glad that I am not chosen for the second interview. Even if I am offered, I wouldn't want to work in the Talent Management dept here.
