Very relaxed and easy. Nothing too stressful. I was made to feel at ease, and after a cup of tea, we had a great chat about the job. Tesco seems like a nice place to work.

How do you feel about working both early and late shifts during the week?
I applied for a shop assistant role at Tesco online, filling in my details and availability. After a few days, I was invited to an interview, which took place in-store. The interviewer asked me questions about customer service, teamwork, and how I would handle busy situations or difficult customers. I gave examples from my past experiences to show my communication skills and reliability. The interview felt relaxed and conversational rather than formal. I was also asked about my flexibility with shifts. Overall, the process was straightforward, and I heard back within about a week with the outcome.
