The most awful, drawn-out process I have ever experienced applying for a job. They will treat you like you are applying for a top leadership position when you are in fact applying for something entry-level. I was called over the phone at the end of October, and was not invited for the next step (in-person) until a month later. I then waited another month+ to hear the final decision. They were nice enough to mail me a letter, stating it was a hard decision as there were many qualified candidates. The HR coordinator promised to keep me in mind for future positions.
I applied for several more over the months, and was rejected or did not hear back about any of them. I followed up with the woman I’d interviewed with once more, and she got me on the phone just to say that she'd forward my resume to another manager. This manager responded to her immediately (I was copied on the emails), and then chose to ignore me a couple weeks later when I followed up. Then, I see they've re-posted the position that I interviewed for, the one that was 'so tough' for them to decide because I was as qualified as any of the other candidates. My persistence and interest in the position meant nothing to them - they did nothing but waste my time. Moreover, the position required an Associate's Degree, and I have a Bachelor's. I would rather them be honest about the fact that they're either not interested in hiring you or that you are over-qualified, rather than string you along with a false spiel about keeping you in mind. Do not waste your time applying to this company for ANY job - they are likely already hiring their friends for it!
