Because this is a telecommute internship the interview was done over skype, but as a phone call not using the video. The lady I spoke to well was very pleasant and easy to talk to. They really expect you to understand the organizations mission and the expectations of your specific role. As long as your look through the website you should have all of the information you need.

What do you know about the organization and its goal?
Are you comfortable with the fundraising aspect of this position?
It was a very simple interview. No surprise questions. A very short interview only lasted 10 minutes or so. The interviewer did not ask many follow up questions. Just read the questions off a list.
I met virtually with interviewer. They asked basic questions about my level of experience and why I wanted the position. They also allowed plenty of time for any questions I had.

Easy overall, just ask background and why you want to write. Pretty sure they take everyone that applies and is somewhat competent. Any position has similar result, not just writer position.
