I was interviewed by two senior statisticians. The first interviewer just asked me some basic questions and he was very friendly. The second interview was nice but pretty hard. The first question he asked was what is sufficient statistics. He also asked me to explain randomforeast algorithm and lasso. I thought I was okay but I didn't get the offer.

The first interview was a simple Microsoft Teams screening. HR was very communicative throughout the process, providing scheduling details promptly and keeping me updated regularly on the status of my application.
