Reached out by recruiter soon after apply. quick phone call regarding background, what I did for most recent role. Also mentioned upfront majority people are in MI or NJ, but open for remote. However, the job posting did say it's a remote role. Got auto rejection email 1 week later, probably due to location. the posting seems conflicting.

General finance relate questions, no difficult ones.
The interview process for this contract position was straightforward and relatively easy. It lasted about 30 minutes and focused primarily on discussing my qualifications and relevant experience. Since it was a contract role, the interviewers didn’t delve too deeply into challenging or technical questions. Instead, they concentrated on understanding my ability to handle the key responsibilities outlined in the job description, such as vendor management, financial recovery efforts, and cross-functional collaboration. Overall, the interview felt conversational and gave me a clear sense of what the role would entail.

It was super rushed, asked the same question and reworded it multiple times, and did not make the interviewee feel comfortable at all. The interviewees will feel like they are being stared at as the interviewers do not turn their cameras on
