The interview process started with a phone screen with a recruiter named Grace, lasting around 20 to 30 minutes. The tone was relaxed and conversational — nothing intimidating at all. Grace was warm and friendly, and the call felt like a genuine two-way conversation rather than a formal interrogation. She covered the basics: my background and experience, my availability and start date, and gave a helpful overview of the role and the team. It was a great opportunity to get a clearer picture of what the position actually involves before moving further in the process. Grace clearly explained what the next steps would look like after the call, which I really appreciated — it takes the guesswork out of the process and shows the team is organised and candidate-friendly. Fairly simple. Very interactive. The initial interview is an online meeting with the HR followed by a sit-in interview with the panel. The questions were competency based and the panel were quick to clarify anything that I did not clearly understand. The interview took about 30mins.
