Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela The Common Application (Virginia City, VA) em mar. de 2026

Screening phone call was extremely scripted. Recruiter never acknowledged anything that was said and there were very repetitive questions- which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but strange to answer questions over and over that you just gave an answer to.

Initial Phone screen, followed by a work assignment asking to identify variances by dollars and percent with a follow up of questions that I would ask cost center managers and a cash flow scenario analysis. Then they selected you to meet with the manager and after that two separate panel interviews. Everyone seemed very nice and engaging but ultimately I was not selected. I'm not entirely sure how I could have answered their questions better. It almost seemed like they were gathering ideas/work for how to build out some of the variance documents.

Asked for a lot of examples of processes that I had improved/changed, What I learned from those experiences.
Fiz uma entrevista na empresa The Common Application.
Entrevista
The process was very well organized. The process included a screening interview, work product, two panel interviews with key stakeholders and a final interview with the hiring manager. The panelists were prepared and organized and there was plenty of time for questions. The focus of each interview as distinct which allowed me to showcase different knowledge, skills, and experience that were of interest to each set of stakeholders. The recruiter kept me up to date on timeline and next steps. Common App shares the steps it takes to eliminate bias in the recruitment process, including how offers are presented to candidates. The entire process was clear and transparent.
