Forty1 - I had an initial interview with two senior PMs who stepped in last minute for the Operations Director (hiring for the role) after she was unwell. They were really lovely and genuinely got me excited about the role.
Quite quickly after, I was set a very detailed task which took around 3-4 hours to complete. I worked late into the evening to turn it around quickly based on my understanding that they needed someone in role quickly.
I was then invited to a final interview with the MD and Ops Director where we spoke for an hour. I was told they were making a decision the next day. Over four weeks later, and it’s been radio silence since. I’ve not heard one bit of feedback or any kind of decision.
One of the reasons TCEG appealed to me so much was for the recent Gold standard award in Workplace well-being. I’m sad to see that is not strongly advocated in the culture of the organisation and certainly doesn’t apply to interviewees.
This is the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had in searching for a new role. I can only recommend others don’t subject themselves to the same disservice.
