New York office hires through a recruiting firm. Interview went very well, made it to the final round. Discussed company life, what they were looking for, what I could bring to the team. Quoting the CD who interviewed me "I love the work and the ideas! You will surely be hearing from us in the next days" Recruiter followed up saying I was most likely to get the offer that they really enjoyed talking to me and were very excited to have me on board. It's been almost 5 months. Recruiter followed up with them and me for about 2 months, never understanding why they ghosted not only me, but the recruiting firm who was handking all the candidates as well. Apologized and followed up with more leads, but the least I would have expected was a thank you but no thank you note after the process that this was.
