Entrevista
Completely unprofessional behaviour when it comes to recruitment. Interviewers several minutes late to the interview, leaving me to stand awkwardly in their lobby as the minutes ticked by and my interview time was depleted in the process (note: I left my own interview at the end of the allotted time). The interview, whose duration weirdly isn't given to candidates before arriving, was of average difficulty and the questions were as expected given the nature of the role. However, a week after the interview, candidates were then told there would be a delay of at least a week before any further updates were given. Three weeks after the interview, zero follow-up. It's awkward being asked about the interview one has had at a reputable research institute and having to say "Yes, I'm not sure. They just never followed up after asking for an interview." I don't feel it's that hard to respect someone's time and effort by at least properly concluding the process in a reasonable timeframe. I would ask employers to consider what their hiring practices say to candidates and whether they would feel neutral about these experiences if on the other end of them.
