Spoke with an internal recruiter who was very friendly and professional. Was scheduled for an hour interview with another lead. The lead joined, but did not turn on their camera. Then they stated someone else would be joining. The second person I was not aware of joined about five minutes late. There was no attempt at introductions, and I was not asked to give any background whatsoever. The first interviewer asked some general questions, and one better one that seemed to be more directed at the position. The late interviewer asked some very basic questions, then they thanked me and ended the interview. This took approximately ten minutes. I was not asked if I had questions. I have never interviewed with people who seemed so inexperienced, and skipped so many basic steps, and I have participated in the hiring process at companies I've worked at. I immediately contacted the recruiter, and told her while I enjoyed our conversation, I would not be moving forward. For a company that's been around that long, the lack of preparation and professionalism was very surprising.
