Human resources contacted me after I submitted my profile online. The HR department set up a 1/2 day face to face interview with the Home Depot IT department. There were 5 people present in the panel interview. The interview took place at the corporate headquarters.

First an online application where you upload your basic profile information as well as your resume. They have the option for a cover letter but I didn't make one. Then you got an email from a recruiter asking to set up time for a call with some person. The call is where they really interview you. It's not that intense but don't lie (or be ready to back up your lies) because they ask for elaboration. For mine, they wanted to see some sort of passion or real interest in the field.
