      Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa The Optimus Consultant Group.

      Silly interview, irrelevant questions were asked about my favorite music and hobbies instead of work experiences? Seems like they were looking for a personality hire. I was told second-round interviews would be about 1 week after the first interview, and that they would contact me. After hearing nothing back after the 1 week wait period, I followed up with them, still without any contact. Extremely rude and unprofessional to ghost applicants like that

      Thank you for your feedback! We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding. We consistently give a deadline that if candidates are not invited back by a certain date (within a week), that we are not moving forward with them. That way candidates do not have to wait further for a response. It can be an honest mistake; sometimes candidates don't take detailed notes, or make incorrect assumptions that our policies are another company's policies. We don't ghost, we simply didn't move forward with the interview progression. Our "silly" questions are very intentional. Since we hire entry-level interns almost exclusively for attitude and work ethic as a learning opportunity, our culture is dependent on our HR team and their influence. A candidate's reaction to the simple questions in a quick initial interview tell us right away, and without further investment, a lot about what we need to see in terms of their attitude. We train elite real estate agents starting from scratch, who's entire livelihood is dependent on making instant positive connections; so the ability for our HR staff to lead by example with positivity in the face of "silliness," or any other adversity, is more valuable to us than the skills that we already teach interns. We don't care what people's answers are, they are all beautifully different. Our hires have radically different responses to the questions. What they have in common is the attitude in which they answer and engage. We learn with great effectiveness from their reaction and effort within their responses. This studied and documented technique, and others, is why we consult HR and recruiting for over a dozen Fortune 100 clients; it is the part of the value and training we provide the interns in the position you applied for.
