I discovered the position on LinkedIn Jobs, where I then used the link to apply directly on their website, and contacted the HR Recruiter of The Police Credit Union via LinkedIn by sending her a message. She was absolutely fantastic and very easy to talk to, not to mention very open, kind and friendly. After an brief review of my profile, she added me to her network, and we began the application process. Below I will be outlining the entire interview process: Initial Phone Screen - This was booked approximately 2 days after reaching out to her directly. The recruiter was vey prompt in her responses and worked with my schedule/availability. Upon calling me we discussed the greater culture of the company, their pride in their employees and the type of candidates they were looking for. I was asked about my existing knowledge of the company (I always do my research to make sure it was a good fit), and why I believe I am a good fit for the role. I also learned that the company truly invests in their employees, and motivates upward mobility. She made it very easy to open-up and settled those interview nerves we all have! We also discussed the CEO being very open, and able to connect with directly - I think it is absolutely wonderful to have engaging upper management, and a CEO who cares about their employees. I received positive feedback on this call the next day. Second Interview via Zoom - This was booked 2 days out after my feedback on the phone screen; they understand the interview process, and allow you time to prepare. This interview may be with your recruiter, and the person to which you may report to, but in my case this zoom interview was with the HR Recruiter only. I was excited to talk to her, and found those interview nerves to be a little more manageable based on her ability to connect with me. In this interview, I was asked a few more questions pertaining to how I may handle various difficult situations, times where I did not succeed and how I overcame it, and to give examples on the ability to remain organized. This was supposed to last 30 minutes, but the conversation was so open and engaging that it continued for just over 1 hour. Nonetheless, yet another positive experience. I heard feedback within the same day. Third Interview via Zoom - This was booked abut 4 days after my second interview, as per the scheduling of the other attendees. I was meeting with both my direct manager (AVP - Risk) and the CFO as well. I had joined 4 minutes early, and to my surprise, they were already ready to go! Very quickly we began to discuss my history, experience and what elements of my skillset match the role. I was quite fortunate to have a deep background in the field and discussed ways in which I welcomed the different nature of the role. I had done my research on them both, and they were quite impressed by this (I highly recommend knowing something interesting about your interviewers). They are quite transparent, relaxed and happy to answer any questions I had asked with as much detail as they could provide. This interview lasted 1 hour. Offer Letter - I was working with a specialized timeframe and heard back an hour after my third interview on whether I received the position or not. They try to meet your expectations (within reason) as best as possible. A couple things to note: they have a brand new corporate building the CEO was very involved in designing, as well as chargers for electric cars. Overall, one of the best experiences I have ever had in the interview process! I thoroughly endorse their application process, and value in their employees and clients. Absolute excellent experience PCU!!
