Long application process, quick response, great feedback during interview. I was hired over the phone and regret taking the position without knowing more about what it entailed. Do not take a position over the phone from SDP! Go to the school, check out their routines, behavior management system, policies and procedures and teacher expectations. Ask if you can visit the school during lunch and recess and other transition times to get a feel of what you are getting into. There is a reason the district has a high turnover rate.
