The first round is all the online tests, then a one-way video interview. Assessment centre is a full day, 8.30-4 in Head Office in Watford. You do a job shadow, which is really useful to ask questions about living in Watford/how they're finding the job/what an allocation analyst actually does etc, then an interview with two assessors. The interview is really informal and it just feels like a chat, but make sure you have relevant examples which show the skills they ask for on the job description (team work/communication/curiousity etc). The two group exercises are a bit tricky because you need to make sure that you're heard and you're contributing but you don't want to be the person that talks over other people. Asking questions is a good way to show you're interested in what everyone else thinks rather than being too pushy and it also encourages more of a team effort which is what they're looking for. The data analysis questions is about how well you manage risk and how clearly you can justify why you took the approach you did. Think about all the figures they're showing you and what external factors might affect your decisions as well. You find out pretty quickly if you've been successful or not and the whole day is a lot more friendly and less pressurised than other assessment centres.
